So nice to find a beach property that is well appointed, very clean and well maintained. Front desk (Tim) was very accommodating and friendly. Pools were clean, check-in and out effortless and just all around super nice place to stay. This is my second time at Tortuga Inn and I will plan on returning.

Stayed at the Gardens which are condos directly behind the hotel. They were very nice and comfortable (granite countertops, dual head showers, etc). Did not see the hotel rooms but heard that the condos are much nicer. Some of the condos are divided into "lock-outs" which allows them to offer a one bedroom.

Nice place, good location.
My suggestion is to request the newly finished garden apartments. Very nice ! About a block walk to beach from the garden apartments, but worth the walk! We plan on going back every year. Great proximity to the gulf, and they have nice beach chairs and beach towels for your use. Easy to find, and the beach was awesome!
This hotel was immaculate and beautiful! You are located on a small island off the mainland (near Sarasota). The back of the property is the bay with a dock; or you can walk across the street to the beautiful white sandy beach. The room was HUGE, which included a flat screen TV, walk-in closet with mini-refrigerator & microwave, and an enormous bathroom (including a large shower & jacuzzi). It was an awesome place to stay for 2 nights while attending a wedding at The Beach House. Highly recommend to ANYONE!
Good place for the money
The room was modern, with nice tile floors and granite countertops. The set up of the room was a bit awkward, with the kitchenette essentially in the bathroom, and windows out into the hallway rather than to the outside world. The entrance to the room was sliding glass doors, which was also weird. The hotel was across the street from a very nice beach, and the pools and pool areas were very classy. The front desk staff were very nice to interact with, and quite helpful. Overall, a nice place to stay for the rates charged.

My husband and I got married on Anna Maria Island and had an incredible experience. Mainly because Tortuga Inn was such a great place. The room was luxourious and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. And the setting was beautiful. The beach was literally across the street, where my husband and I were married.
